In this thesis, the response of a typical Athenian apartment building to conditions of intense climate change and more specifically to urban warming is investigated. After studying different versions of severe warming the aim of the thesis was approached. The aim was to create and design a script for a hypothetical film project in which a typical Athenian apartment building is presented as the victim of urban warming in the near future. Based on this scenario, the following questions were formed:
How will the form of the apartment building be affected?
How will this condition reshape the lives of its inhabitants?
How will this change affect the way in which the housing estate will be inhabited?
The answers to these questions prescribe a dystopian fantasy scenario which is an extreme version of the existing reality.
